2023 Safety Award Winner
For the 21st consecutive time, we've clinched the top spot in the Gas Processors Association’s (GPA) safety performance award in the prestigious International Division II category! Adding to our accolades, we proudly received the 2023 Perfect Record Award, marking another year with no lost time accidents. The Chairman, Dr. Joseph Khan, and President, Dominic Rampersad, personally accepted these honors during their visit to Dallas in May.
What elevates these achievements is the backdrop against which they were earned. Amidst our successful completion of a comprehensive facility-wide turnaround in 2023, lasting 19 days and involving a staggering 190,000 man-hours, we maintained our unwavering commitment to “safety is our number 1 priority”.
The GPA Midstream Safety Awards Program, designed to spotlight exemplary safety performance within the association's membership, further highlights our dedication to safety. Our distinction among U.S. and non-U.S. midstream operating companies underscores our global leadership in safety standards.
Moreover, the recognition extends beyond our core operations. PPGPL’s subsidiary, Phoenix Park Energy Marketing, secured the prestigious Pinnacle Safety Award from the Union Pacific Railroad for its exceptional safety record in 2022.
