Ms. Mohammed has over 20 years’ experience in the energy sector. She is a chartered accountant and attorney-at-law and has been with PPGPL since 2004 in various positions in Finance, Compliance and Internal Audit. As Senior Manager - Corporate Partnerships at PPGPL, she is responsible for the Supply Chain Management Team including procurement and warehouse operations, the Facility Management Team overseeing general administration, facilities and security. She also has strategic oversight of the Brand and Communication Team including reputation and stakeholder management as well as the Technology Infrastructure Team infusing information management and business intelligence into PPGPL’s operations.
Ms. Mohammed was assigned to various strategic projects within the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago (NGC) related to organizational design and strategy development, supply chain management and automation of the Ariba procure-to-pay system. She was instrumental in the development of NGC Group initiatives geared towards leveraging synergies, and deriving maximum efficiencies. Ms. Mohammed also held the position of Finance Manager (Ag.) and Company Secretary at National Helicopter Services Ltd., the latter role still pertains.
Ms. Mohammed is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago and a member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from The University London, a Legal Practice Certificate from Staffordshire University and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with distinction from Heriot Watt University.
