PPGPL Employees participated in a project to restore the Couva Children’s Home and Crisis Nursery (CCHCN) kitchen garden by replanting six grow boxes with vegetables and herbs. This project was undertaken as part of the United Way Day of Caring global initiative.

The garden will be maintained by the children of the home, and the produce will be used in meals as well as to generate much needed revenue.

CCHCN is one of two children’s homes that PPGPL supports regularly through infrastructure projects, annual school supplies, technology and other initiatives.
